Accessibility statement

BreathEasy is designed to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or voice control. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA, the standard adopted in the Department of Justice 2024 web accessibility rule.

• Semantic headings, landmarks, and lists so structure is announced correctly.
• A visible skip-to-content link and a logical, fully keyboard-operable tab order.
• Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
• Text contrast that meets or exceeds 4.5 to 1, and 3 to 1 for large text and controls.
• Form fields with real labels, clear error messages, and errors announced to assistive technology.
• Meaningful alternative text on images, and decorative images hidden from screen readers.
• Layouts that reflow to 320 pixels wide and support 200 percent zoom without loss of content.
• Respect for the reduced-motion setting in your operating system.

Accessibility is not a one-time audit. We test with keyboard and screen reader on new screens before release and fix issues as we find them. Some areas of the product are still in development and will be reviewed before launch.
