Who we are

BreathEasy provides management software for self-storage operators. This policy covers the BreathEasy marketing website. Operators who license our software receive a separate data processing agreement covering their tenants' information.

What we collect

  • Information you send us. When you request early access or use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to include, such as phone number, company, facility count, and your message.
  • Anonymous visit data. We record the page path, the time, the referring site's domain, and whether the visit came from a desktop or mobile device. We also store a one-way hash that rotates every day so we can count unique visits without identifying anyone.

What we do not do

  • We do not use cookies or similar tracking storage on this website.
  • We do not store your IP address.
  • We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

How we use it

We use what you send us to respond to your request, schedule a demonstration, and follow up about BreathEasy. We use anonymous visit data to understand which pages are useful and to produce an internal monthly summary. We do not use your information for automated decision-making.

Email

We only email you about the request you submitted. We do not add you to a marketing list without asking, every message identifies us clearly and includes a way to stop receiving them, and we honor an opt-out request promptly. This is how we meet United States CAN-SPAM requirements.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and early-access submissions for as long as we are in touch with you about BreathEasy, and no more than three years after our last exchange. Anonymous visit data is kept for 24 months in aggregate form.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and database provider stores this data on our behalf under contract. Our email delivery provider transmits messages we send you. Neither uses your information for their own purposes. We disclose information otherwise only when the law requires it.

Your choices

Write to sales@breatheasy.net to see a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We respond within 30 days. If you are a California resident, you have these rights under the CCPA and we do not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to staff who need it, and every change to stored records is logged.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
